Random Observation #409
As far as musical instruments I've heard being played in subway stations and on train tunnel platforms, the most ill-advised must be the bagpipes. There's just nowhere for the sound to go.

Oh I agree WHOLEHEARTEDLY. Although I've also wanted to smack that dude who plays the saw-like instrument at 42nd St. now and then. It sounds like a cat in heat.
The saw guy! It's like nails on a chalkboard except, like, musically. But not musically in a good way.
